Frequently Asked Questions

  • What fees do you charge to sell artwork on your website and/or physical gallery?
    Our online gallery fee is $60 per month or $600 annually. Artist may list up to 40 pieces of their artwork. We handle the marketing, management and logistics. All you need to do is send us photos of your artwork! There are 5 foot and 10 foot wall spaces available at our physical gallery. 5 foot wall space is $75 per month or $855 annually; 10 foot wall space is $150 per month or $1,710 annually. Artist must have an online plan to also use wall space. There is a 30% commission taken on each piece sold. All plans have a 1 year commitment.
  • Where is your physical gallery located?
    We are located in the ArtWorks at 200 Willard St, Wilmington, NC 28401. Our business hours are Wednesday-Saturday 11am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
  • What is your return policy?
    For art purchased online and being shipped, the buyer has 14 days to return after an item is delivered for a refund. Buyer pays for shipping both ways. For art purchased in person under $2,000, the sale is final. If art purchased in person is $2,000 or over, buyer has 14 days to return after purchase for a full refund if it doesn’t fit their home decor. The product must be in the same condition it was purchased in or return policy is voided. You can request a return by contacting alex@capefearliving.com. Return will be processed and refund issued within 14 business days after receiving artwork.
  • What if I want to see the artwork in person before purchasing?
    Customers may request to see artwork in person by using the “Request to See in Person” button on the product page. If you requested to see a product in person, please 2 business days after request for the artist to bring the product to theArtWorks (200 Willard St, Wilmington, NC 28401) for your viewing. You may see the product in person during their business hours. To ensure a seamless process, we recommend that you call theArtWorks at 910-352-1822 to confirm the product is available for your viewing. Product will be held for 14 business days after request is made.
  • Does the artwork come framed?
    Yes, all artwork on website and in gallery comes framed. Customer can make a special request to have art that they purchased unframed if they wish.
  • How long does artwork take to ship and how do I track my order?
    Please allow up to 7 business days for your order to arrive after purchase. You will receive an automated email with your tracking number once the package is shipped.
